Today I am thinking about how important being spontaneous is. Having a routine or pattern is necessary but breaking the pattern is also crucial. Finding moments of randomness, and embracing the uncertainty is one of the ways my creativity comes alive. On Friday night I was coming home from work with no real plans for the weekend. Yesterday with just the clothes on our backs we drove to the offbeat tie-dye-inspired town Salida, where we set up a base for the night. With any luck today we will see a wolf sanctuary perched atop of Pikes Peak and by the days end hopefully, we will have crossed the suspension bridge built in 1929 at the Royal Gorge. Through this lens me and my family get to create a unique weekend Adventure.
